ABOUT US

Psychological Healthcare of South Louisiana was established in 2011 by Dr. K. Chris Rachal, who had practiced with other psychologists and physicians in the region for eleven years prior. Since then, we have grown to a practice of eleven psychologists and counselors. We believe that success isn't just about working hard but also about working with the right people. Meet the team below.

K. Chris Rachal, MP

Board certified neuropsychologist and medical psychologist as well as founder, Dr. Rachal evaluates a variety of issues that compromise cognitive  and emotional functioning, such as neurological disease, head injury, chronic pain, ADHD, and learning disability. He manages medication for children, adolescents, and adults. He is also an Associate Professor of Psychology at Nicholls State University and co-owner of The Touchstone Center for Autism.

Windy Rachal, LPC

A Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children (ages 3+) and adults experiencing a variety of problems from anxiety, OCD, and mood disorders to ADHD and disruptive behavior, including sexual acting out. Windy also conducts parent training to help parents learn positive discipline methods. She is also a trained provider for the Pathways model of sex offender treatment.

Kelli Monier, LPC

A Licensed professional counselor who works with children (ages 3+), teens, and adults. Kelli primarily specializes in working with parents on positive behavior interventions, especially related to difficult behaviors that accompany ADHD or autism diagnoses.

Dawn Toups, LPC

Dawn Toups, LPC

A Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999, Dawn primarily works with children ages 5+, adolescents, and adults. She specializes Anxiety Disorders but also sees patients with ADHD, trauma, adjustment Disorders, and other similar diagnoses or problem behaviors, including sex offending behaviors in youth. She is also a qualified as an expert witness in court in both Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes.

Ryan Kelley, PMHNP-BC

A Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in medication management for patients of all ages. Ryan has 14 years of experience working in an inpatient psychiatric unit at Chabert. He has been in nursing for 18 years.

Mike DiSalvo, LPC

A Licensed professional counselor who works with children, teens, adults, and couples with a variety of diagnoses and issues. Mike is especially good with teens. As a former youth ministry director for the diocese, he also works in schools throughout the region to host faith retreats for youth. Mike is a dedicated fitness trainer at his gym in Houma, called 21/90 TRX.

Alyse Blanchard, PhD

Alyse Blanchard, PhD

A Clinical Psychologist and neuropsychologist, Dr. Blanchard conducts neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for a variety of issues that compromise cognitive  and emotional functioning, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, neurological disease, head injury, chronic pain, ADHD, autism, and learning disability. She trained in a Veterans Affairs setting working with patients who have PTSD, chronic pain, and anxiety.

Bryan Bunn, LPC

A Licensed Professional Counselor with experience ranging from substance abuse, groups, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other difficulties. Bryan is certified in Written Exposure Therapy for the treatment of PTSD and accepts all patients aged 11 and up.

Mary Esteve, LSSP

A Licensed Specialist in School Psychology who has worked many years in the school system and conducts ADHD/LD psychological evaluations of children in our practice.

A Licensed Specialist in School Psychology who has worked many years conducting ADHD/learning disability psychological evaluations of children in the Dyslexia Center at Nicholls State University and offers the same service in our practice.

Mandi Bonvillain, LSSP, BCBA

A Licensed Specialist in School Psychology and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who specializes in evaluating children for autism and ADHD/learning disabilities. Mandi also works with children who have autism at The Touchstone Center.

Mark Dufrene, PLPC

Mark Dufrene, PLPC

A Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor, Mark sees patients 18+ for a low, out of pocket rate. Mark also has years of experience working in ministry as a retreat leader for couples, adults, and teens. He treats clients for a variety of issues, ranging from marital or behavior problems to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders. 

Leah Rodrigue, PLPC

A Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor who sees patients of all ages for a low, out of pocket rate. Leah also sees patients in the community through Magnolia and has experience working in homes and in clinic sites, with patients who are in need of help with anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and other issues.
